I.O.O.F. was originally formed in England then immigrated
to Baltimore, Maryland in North America, on 26 Apr 1819. Their mission was for
the members to help feed the hungry, find homes for the homeless, visit the
sick, help the distressed, bury the dead and educate orphans. This book is from the Kouts, Indiana Lodge 822,
dated 1911-1915 with some loose papers inside. There is some water damage and binding damage. These are minutes of
their meetings that include membership applications, names of officers, names
of sick members and members in need of help.
